Sponsorship Opportunities

The Royal Academy of Dance USA is a branch office of the Royal Academy of Dance headquartered in London. As a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organization that receives no government funding, we depend entirely on the support of our members and on the generosity of donors like you.

The RAD USA offers invaluable training and educational opportunities for young dancers and aspiring teachers. Your support will enable us to expand our scholarship and grant funds, making these programs available to those individuals who might not otherwise have the opportunity. Contribute

Genée International Ballet Competition

Known simply as 'the Genée', it is one of the most prestigious ballet competitions in the world, attracting the finest young dancers trained in the RAD syllabus, from around the globe. Candidates receive a unique opportunity to work with renowned choreographers and teachers for five days before performing at the semi-finals, and then the final, where they compete for a range of medals. Your contribution will help make it possible for qualified candidates from the United States to participate.

College Scholarship Fund

Teaching dance is an art form in and of itself. The Royal Academy of Dance offers a broad range of certificate and degree programs for both new and established teachers. These unique and unparalleled programs provide the knowledge and experience required to teach in the dance world today. Due to the economic challenges our country now faces, many promising and dedicated teachers are unable to secure the loans needed to continue their education. With your help, the RAD USA will be able to increase the number of scholarships awarded each year. Contribute

The Genée Scholarship Fund

The Genée International Ballet Competition is the RAD's flagship annual event and is named after Dame Adeline Genée DBE, co-founder of the Association of Operatic Dancing, as the RAD was then known. In order to embrace the international spirit of the competition, The Genée is held in a different country each year. Because of the high cost of travel and accommodation involved, the RAD USA has created a grant fund to assist dancers and their families in covering these expenses. Your support will make this extraordinary experience possible for the most talented of our dancers, as well as to allow the United States to be represented in this elite competition. Contribute
