The Royal Academy of Dance considers the professional training of young dancers to be vitally important. Our ballet faculty is made up of professional, qualified teachers certified by the Royal Academy of Dance. We are committed to dance training that developes life skills, confidence, and self-esteem in adition to a high standard of technique.

Week one of our summer programs consists of open, non syllabus classes which will be enjoyed by dancers who are being trained in any style or technique. Weeks two and three are Intensives geared toward students who are planning to take Royal Academy examinations.

Because today's dancer is required to be extremely versatile, we also offer a wide range of classes in addition to ballet technique. Students will also enjoy jazz, modern, African, and flamenco as well as Pilates.

And, of course, what would a summer camp be without some rest and relaxation? Our dancers are treated to field trips such as Disneyland, a tour of Washington D.C., and shopping excursions.

The Royal Academy of Dance summer programs are held on two secure, beautiful college campuses with housing and residential dormitories. Students are chaperoned at all times with a ratio on one parent or dance teacher chaperone for every ten students. All meals are served in the campus cafeterias and are healthful and delicious. Those with food allergies can easily be accommodated.

Why choose the Royal Academy of Dance? While ballet is fun, it is also physically demanding. Choose training by the highly qualified, professional teachers at a RAD summer school.
