Individuals who have passed:
Grade 6, 7, and 8 Awards, Intermediate Foundation (RAD or Benesh), Intermediate (RAD or Benesh), Advanced Foundation, DES III for Girls, Elementary Solo in BMN, or are enrolled on a Faculty of Education program and are not an existing member, may apply to become an Affiliate member of the Royal Academy of Dance.

Businesses that wish to support the Royal Academy of Dance may join as Corporate members.

| If you are over 65 years of age and no longer teaching, you may apply for membership as an Affiliate. If you are a Full Member in full time education, but not teaching, you may qualify for a reduced rate.
Full Members over the age of 18 must provide evidence of being in full time education.

| TEACHING MEMBERSHIPS |

| To teach the RAD syllabus and enter candidates for our examinations you will need to hold certification and Registered Teacher Status (RTS). Students who graduate from courses endorsed by the Royal Academy of Dance are eligible to apply for Registered Teacher status providing they continue to regularly enter candidates for Examinations and Presentation Classes. |
